Me as a Coach
I am an established, accredited and experienced freelance coach. In addition to my coaching qualifications (Ashridge College, ILM Level 7, NLP Master Practitioner, TA 101, Coaching with Constellations), I am a nationally accredited coach with the NHS Leadership Academy. I also hold wider accreditation including with BPS for testing of personality in the workplace and the Hay Group for their emotional intelligence inventory and with others to use and provide feedback on a range of diagnostic tools.
As a coach, I create a safe, non-judgemental, reflective space for my clients where they can explore their ideas concerns and thoughts. I have found my approach works well for clients who prefer to be stretched and constructively challenged in a supportive manner, are open to exploring new approaches and learning from their own experience and, along the way want a holistic and relaxed (and fun) coaching partnership which respects them as individuals.
I abide by the EMCC code of practice and undertake regular supervision on a one to one basis, update my skills through CPD and hold professional indemnity insurance.
My coaching practice extends across the Midlands and East England and into London. Generally, I meet clients at my offices in Suffolk or at a venue close to their workplace. I also offer telephone or webcam sessions, which works particularly well for my overseas clients or those based elsewhere in the UK.
The majority of my clients are senior leaders working at Board level or holding senior professional roles and includes principals, partners, Chief Executives, Chairs, non-executive and executive directors. I also work extensively with clinicians including medical consultants and Directors and senior nursing professionals in the NHS and with more generalist emergent and aspirant leaders across all sectors.
In addition I have a particular interest in supporting people who are returning to work, experiencing or considering a change in their career and newly appointed leaders.
For self-funding clients who may not otherwise be able to access coaching, I can also offer small group coaching or shorter sessions of personal telephone/webcam coaching.
Teams and Groups
In my coaching practice, I also work with small groups of people or teams who are working with shared purpose (or where an established group has lost its unity of purpose) and with groups who are working in a wider system, to help them achieve their shared goals and optimise their shared performance and potential. This area of my coaching has supported executive/leadership teams, multidisciplinary teams, clinical groups and Boards to secure their objectives and enhance their united performance as well as groups who have come together for a shared goal and have a common context but otherwise have no connection between them.
